In one piece. The alternative to the mulch layer

It not only offers all the advantages of a mulch layer, but is also much easier to handle than grass, straw or chaff: this weed protection mat is simply laid in one piece on the soil in the bed or raised bed and thus prevents the unwanted growth. The mechanical protection works without gaps, as the fleece is not worn away by the wind or even runs the risk of being scooped away by birds. To plant the covered (raised) bed, the mat is slit crosswise, the young plants can then be inserted through the openings thus created.
